Comedian and actress Keanna Reeves introduces her 20 years-old boyfriend to the public
on an interview over ABS-CBN TV Patrol.
When asked how her current relationship be compared to that of singer Freddie Aguilar’s
relationship with a 16 years-old, Reeves answers:
“Siguro ang kaibahan namin ni Mr. Freddie Aguilar, ako po, naghahanap po ako ng ID.
Siguraduhin ko po na 18 above na po siya, kasi baka makulong ako!” – the actress said that
drew laughters on the room, and probably on most households who are watching the interview.
Keanna Reeves who’s real name is Janet Derecho-Duterte had first revealed her boyfriend
when he is still 19 years-old during the interview on Startalk with Joey de Leon and
Lolit Solis.
Meanwhile, the actress said that she is still hiding her true age to her boyfriend who
keeps on insisting to know how old she is.
“Itinatago ko talaga ang ID ko. Gusto talaga niyang malaman.” – Reeves said on the
Startalk interview.
“Sa akin naman, kailangan mo pa bang sabihin yun? Parang understood na siya, na kahit
gaano man kalayo!” – the actress added.
Reeves, who was known for being bold, said that her past relationships are abusive men.
“Lahat naman sila. ‘Yung ex-husband ko, nananakit, namamaril. Hindi naman [ako tinamaan],
slight lang!” – the actress admitted.
When asked about the current status of their relationship, Reeves answered “Mahal na mahal
[ko po siya]”
Kevin Mercado, Reeves boyfriend, on the ABS-CBN interview admitted that her relationship
with Keanna Reeves had cost him some friendships. Mercado revealed that there have been
instances where he got unpleasant comments by being with Keanna.
“Masasakit din po ‘yung mga sinasabi, pero wala po akong pakialam sa kanila. Kasi wala
naman po sila sa sitwasyon ko,” the 20 years-old Mercado said. “Meron pa naman natitira
[na mga kaibigan].”
Then Keanna suddenly quipped “‘Yung mga nilibre ko, matira naman sila!”
[ laughters here ]
Keanna Reeves who is presenty 46 years-old according to her Wikipedia entry became more
popular during her appearance on the senate to expose the escort service which implicates
many lawmakers, the senate hearing started on December 2004.
This follows many television and movie projects. Reeves later became among the 14 housemates of ABS-CBN’s Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Edition where she became the grand winner bagging a 4-million worth of cash and prizes.
